    Spending his early years growing up in Ireland, Gerard has called Australia home for the past 40 years and after an initial career as a Jeweller/Watchmaker, but with an obvious interest in mathematics during his schooling years, he made the transition to Real Estate Sales at the young age of 23. The Harcourts Foundation (a registered non-profit organisation) along with Harcourts Ballarat, have donated to many local and national charities over the past years, with generous support for their fundraising efforts. His immediate goal is to grow the business to a staff of 30, reach a total of 1,000 properties managed, and continually maintain a strong presence in the Ballarat market whilst gaining the number one Sales Office for Harcourts both state wide and nationally. Gerard has been married to Margot for 25 years and their time away from the business is spent with their two children Stephanie & Patrick, following their various musical performances or enjoying their sporting exploits of cycling, boating or skiing.

    Peter was born and raised in Ballarat and has been involved in many local clubs and charity groups during his adult life. Her move to Harcourts occurred during early 2013 once the Gull Property Management Division was relocated to the Harcourts Group in Lydiard Street South. Ellie feels like a local, now that she has purchased property in Ballarat and has lived in the City for 7 years. She has strong connections with the REIV, as her father is currently a Board Member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria and she herself, has been elected to the position of Ballarat Regional Area Representative for Property Managers as their representation at management committee meetings at the REIV in Melbourne.     Born and raised in Ballarat, Renae completed year 12 in 2011 and commenced her Diploma in Primary School teaching at the University of Ballarat whilst working part time. Having always lived in Ballarat, Renae has a good understanding & appreciation of the many benefits of living in a Major Regional City Centre. With a long time passion for real estate, Renae decided to follow her dream and change direction in her tertiary studies, she is currently completing her Certificate IV in Real Estate after recently acquiring her Agents Representative Licence. Renae is a welcome additional team member for the rapidly expanding Property Management department and is currently performing the role of Assistant Property Manager to Katrina Weidemann. She looks forward to gaining further knowledge and experience as she works with Landlords and current Tenants.     Samantha has been a part of the Harcourts Real Estate Group for over 4 years, having experience in many different areas within the business. After successfully completing VCE, Samantha spent time working in the retail sector gaining valuable experience in customer service. Samantha began working at Harcourts Ballarat as Receptionist, before moving into the rental department. With a tree change in mind, she spent 12 months as Jason Gigliotti’s personal assistant and receptionist for Harcourts Creswick which gave Samantha increased knowledge and awareness of the wider Harcourts cliental. Samantha has completed her Certificate 4 in Real Estate and is currently supporting Harcourts experienced Property Managers in the day to day operation of managing property portfolios. Samantha’s medium to long term goal is to obtain her real estate license and to then progress into a sales/sales manager role. Samantha lives with her partner Jason on their lifestyle property on the outskirts of Ballarat, which they are currently renovating. With a sound knowledge of all Harcourts landlords, Samantha is a valuable asset to the property management department.     Shae Dixon joined the Harcourts Group in early 2012 and was originally based at the Creswick Office in the role of Front of Office Manager/Personal Assistant to Jason Gigliotti. Shae has participated in several Harcourts training sessions that have provided her with a vast knowledge of the Real Estate industry and the benefits of Harcourts’ Systems and Procedures. Born and raised in Ballarat, Shae is a true local! More than anything, Shae is loving her new role within the Property Management department at the Ballarat office & says she thrives on the busy activity constantly occuring around her. Her extensive background in sales has provided Shae the ability to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and desired end results. Her attention to detail is meticulous and she is endeavouring to meet many Landlords & Tenants as she monitors & assists with the management of several rental properties.     Upon completing VCE, Jodie’s Real Estate Career commenced in her home town of Swan Hill on the beautiful Murray River at the young age of 18. She quickly gained considerable experience in all facets of the industry and as a progression relocated to Ballarat in 2006 to join, then, Cosgrave Real Estate as ‘front of house’ Receptionist. With a keen interest in figures (coming from a family with strong Financial Services background), Jodie took on the role of Accounts/Administration assistant & quickly established herself as an important team member of the Property Management Department & the General Office Accounts Division. She played an integral role in the rebranding of the Cosgrave name to the Harcourts Group in 2010 and has since assisted with many other individual financial projects that the Business has been involved in or taken on. Married to Peter and with a young daughter, Jodie has returned to her role in a part time capacity.

    With an interest in Property throughout most of his senior years of schooling, it was no surprise that after completing year 12 at St Patrick’s College then spending 3 years at the University of Ballarat studying for a Bachelor of Bachelor of Business, Josh took his first job in real estate as a sales executive & assistant to sales agent Peter Burley. Determined to succeed, he exhibits a drive and focus beyond his years. Far from being a disadvantage, Josh credit’s his relative youth with allowing him to focus on the task at hand without outside responsibilities or distractions. Already he has earned a reputation for his boundless energy, enthusiasm and eye for detail. Having lived his entire life in Ballarat, Josh has a natural affinity with the area and thorough knowledge of all its many attractions. Being new to the Real Estate Industry, Katrina is keen to put into practice the many years of experience gained, as she strives to build and maintain strong relationships with her clients and peers alike. Katrina works works alongside Jason Gigliotti not only as his personal assistant, but also focusing her attention on business development whilst managing the day to day operations of the Creswick office. Katrina lives locally with her husband and her two step-children. In her free time Katrina is a dedicated singer and loves nothing more than spending time with her family and friends (and singing a song or two!) Still considered a rather new-comer to the area, Katrina is keen to be involved in the community where she can and support many local events, as she understand that Real Estate is all about building strong relationships with people and providing them an exemplary service when the time is right.
