John Ogilvy

John has been in the business most of his working life. In 1989with wife Tina, moved to Queensland and purchased a Hotel at Rathdowny and ran it for 5 years. They then purchased a restaurant “Aminya Gardens” on Coochiemudlo Island, working the restaurant and overseeing the Hotel for the following 3 years. John & Tina then spent 22 months in New Zealand before coming back to Queensland and entering the Real Estate industry at ray White Shailer Park. John ran over 250 auction campaigns whilst working for Ray White and was considered one of their highest selling sales people. In 2005 John & Tina purchased the Ray White office at Victoria Point which they ran successfully until Johns “retirement” in 2009. Six months into his “retirement” John and Tina purchased which was Raine & Horne Gumdale with only one Sales person. It is now known as Harcourts Gumdale & Bayside and has five successful sales consultants. John has built his Real Estate career on integrity and runs his business on the same basis that everyone deserves to be treated as we would like to be treated ourselves.
