Using a word such as dedicated hardly does Deb Van Der Laan justice. Her commitment to her role as the Senior Asset Manager is hard to beat - she describes herself as 110% committed to her clients. She puts a personal touch to every element of her service delivery and is committed to generating the best possible return on her client’s investments. She is leading the way in her field by adopting a new level of service and truly embracing the notion of ‘asset management’. Deb’s leadership of the Asset Management Team has brought their service standards to new levels, winning the Excellence Award in Property Management for Harcourts in March 2010. Deb is a skilled listener and when the situation requires, negotiator, and she prides herself on her ability to empathise with both owner and tenant to achieve the best possible resolution for all. Deb spends her spare time with her husband, children and grandchildren, trying her hand at a game of golf, or generally anything that keeps her mind and body active. She’ll also never say no to a good dose of retail therapy. Busy, active and committed, Deb is the Asset Manager every property owner has been searching for.

Hannah Diblasi

Hannah has lived in Busselton all her life and studied at Busselton Senior High School where she was named VET dux of her school. Not content to live on her past victories she is now completing Certificate III in Business. Hannah sees her new role as an opportunity to, “Help people find the perfect place they love”, which fits perfectly with her philosophy of honesty, loyalty and being helpful and understanding. She freely admits to taking pride in her work and says she loves working with others and learning new things. In her spare time - whenever that is, she’s a keen Go Karter and plays Volleyball. Liz Clark

Blessed with an approachable nature and a bubbly personality, Liz Clark is doing what she loves to do best: Selling houses. Arriving from the UK some 5 years ago she came to visit and decided to stay. Happily settled in Busselton with her husband, Liz has a successful retail background which has prepared her for the professional responsibilities of caring for people’s real estate needs. In explaining what she stands for, the words integrity, reliability and trust are common themes and to add to her qualities she admits to being highly organised and a stickler for punctuality. Equipped with patience, positivity and a thoughtful nature, Liz Clark is one person who is perfectly suited to act on a client’s behalf in the real estate business. Pam Goodbody

Pamela Goodbody understands the challenges which Real Estate brings, and in her own words she finds them “exciting”. After five years of real estate sales experience in the United Kingdom and six years in a retail customer service role, Pamela’s people skills are highly tuned. And when one considers her two year;s experience as a mortgage consultant, one can appreciate the well rounded professional skills she brings to her position at Harcourts Busselton. In her personal life she likes to keep fit and enjoys travelling with her two daughters, husband and two dogs. Blessed with a vibrant personality, an attitude of honesty and respect for all, Pam’s values includes a desire to resolve problems and defuse difficult situations. She’s determined to always put the customer first and such qualities demonstrate the real requirements of service to the client.

Rhianna Herring

Rhianna joined the Harcourts Busselton team in early 2011 after receiving a taste of the Real Estate industry in a semester of work experience with Harcourts in 2010. Rhianna began in reception and her impeccable work ethic was recognised early on with her being promoted to the role of Asset Management Assistant. Recently graduating from Busselton Senior High School and gaining her Certificate II in Business Services, Rhianna is now pursuing her Certificate III with the help of the Harcourts team. Rhianna is thankful for her promising career opportunity with one of the busiest real estate agents in Busselton, and for the guidance she has received from some of the most skilled people in the business. She looks forward to every new day and the challenges it brings.

Alan Pascall

With a loving wife, a devotion to the Fremantle Dockers, a passion for deep sea fishing, golf and gardening, Alan Pascall is one busy man. In 2002, after a lifetime of bricklaying, he began a new career in real estate and in his first twelve months became ‘Rookie of the Year’. After successfully working his way through the system, Alan became a business owner with Harcourts Busselton and so began a new adventure. He sees honesty as his strongest value, encouraging this throughout his team with special emphasis in dealings with the company’s clients. In respect to the industry generally, he knows it needs improving and in creating the Harcourts Busselton business culture he and his fellow Directors believe they can change the negatives. “I think it’s an industry that can make for a fantastic lifestyle with the right application”, he says. Alan knows that being honest and committed makes one different, and delivering real service without simply paying lip service is a mission. Busy, active and committed, he knows that he can get everything he wants in life, by helping others get what they want too.

Craig Edwards

Craig Edwards describes his job as, “the best job in the world, in the best place in the world.” Craig is one of the most passionate Property Consultants a client will ever meet, possessing a genuine level of care for his clients and their properties that is a welcomed change in the industry. He has a natural ability to empathise with people from any background, drawn from years working in the building industry and also managing a bar at a hotel. His unique approach to service is focused on always putting himself in others shoes. An impeccable memory combined with an eye for detail means that with Craig, nothing is ever over-looked. Neil Honey

Being the licensee of Busselton’s largest real estate agency is no mean feat, but Neil Honey attributes the success of the company to his support network - the leadership of his fellow Directors and the strong team of dedicated professionals behind them. Neil had a diverse career history before settling into real estate in 2003. In just his first year in the industry he showed his initiative and passion, achieving a ‘Rookie of the Year’ award in 2003/04. Since forming Harcourts Busselton in 2006 (formerly the Roy Weston Group), Neil and his fellow Directors have taken the company to new heights, including achieving national recognition for their level of service in 2009, amongst many other awards. With a strong belief for transparency and honesty, Neil offers a service that is rare in real estate. He believes in communication right through from listing to settlement, and has established many long term relationships with clients that extend well beyond the settlement date. His beliefs are echoed by his team and together they form a strong commitment to changing the expectations of service in the real estate industry. In his spare time you’ll find Neil on the golf course, barracking for his beloved Melbourne Demons Football Club, or spending time with his cherished family.

Bree Smith

Bree Smith is one of Harcourts Busselton’s most important people - the behind-the-scenes hard worker who manages anything from deadlines to procedure and everything in between. She is the gatekeeper of every piece of communication that leaves the office, and is not afraid to set the bar high, supporting Harcourts Busselton’s integrity at every turn. Described as “an absolute gem with an undying commitment to efficiency”, her time and people management skills ensure the Harcourts office works like clockwork. She is the support behind every Director and Property Consultant, and is always there to help, no questions asked. “We move mountains to help each other” is how she describes the culture at Harcourts Busselton. Bree has a lifetime of experience in the industry, and in 2009 she was awarded for her passion and dedication, receiving the Harcourts ‘Administrator of the Year’ award for WA. She loves the industry, a keen real estate investor herself, and enjoys the new challenges it brings each day. She possesses patience and an unwavering can-do attitude. With Bree, everything is possible, and most always achieved well ahead of deadline.

Fiona Plummer

Fiona Haase’s smiling face is the one you’ll see when you step into Harcourts Busselton’s office, always at the reception desk ready to help you. Together with fellow Receptionist Kristen Wright, she takes your phone calls, finds the right person to assist you, and provides valuable support to all other team members in the office. Fiona has recently joined the team after graduating from Busselton Senior High School, bringing a great deal of initiative and a thirst for knowledge in the industry. She gained her Certificate 2 in Business Studies at high school and is on track to obtain a Certificate 3, showing a drive for continued learning and personal growth. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm to learn is infectious, and you’ll rarely catch her without a smile on her face. She approaches the challenges she faces each day with a can-do attitude and can find the positive in every situation. Fiona strives to provide every person who enters the Harcourts Busselton office with a positive experience and she will do everything in her power to make that person’s day.

Janina Downes

Janina Downes forms a vital part of the sales support team that ensures a sale goes as smoothly as possible for both the seller and the buyer. She handles all the dealings at ‘crunch time’, liaising with settlement agents, drafting and editing contracts, and monitoring their conditions. It’s no mean feat, but she manages the task with ease, drawing from over ten years experience in the role. Knowing that buying or selling a home can be emotional and stressful, Janina brings a welcomed level of professionalism and efficiency to the process. She puts herself in the shoes of every client, with a personal approach that ensures no-one is ever left in the dark. She is committed to first class service, honesty and integrity, 100% of the time. She enjoys working for Harcourts Busselton, and describes her fellow team members as ‘family’.
