Amanda Deshong
Head of Department - Property ManagementAmanda Deshong understands the importance of good communication with owners and tenants and the balance required to take all the stress out of investment properties. Amanda’s career has been defined by continuous service in Property Management since 1998. Amanda has consistently achieved success in her various roles in this area, including Senior Property Manager, Business Development Manager and now Department Manager. Amanda’s efficient work ethic means a high level of professional care for every property, client and tenant. Her vast experience and comprehensive market knowledge aided her in gaining qualification as a real estate license holder. Amanda is strongly committed to customer service and ensuring that the properties under her teams’ management are maintained in the best possible condition to ensure that both the clients and tenants enjoy their rental experience. David Veerman
Business Development ManagerBrisbane-born with a family business grounding, David’s held four key business-to-business Sales and Marketing roles in South Brisbane over the past 15 years so you can be confident he’ll present your property with a professionalism rarely on offer in the agency world. As an owner of a number of investment properties he’s got a rare understanding and passion for inner-Brisbane real estate. David’s accumulated a thorough knowledge of the inner-city area and made many contacts and friends along the way. David’s first venture into property was in 1997 when he purchased a workers cottage in Dutton Park for what now seems like a very small $100,000. After substantial renovation, he offered the property to the rental market for three years before selling it by auction to purchase his first block of units. As the last boom commenced in inner-city Brisbane, David joined Future Domain as a Director to undertake a small residential land subdivision. His contribution included market feasibility studies and subdivision consultations, developing a marketing strategy and selling properties by both auction and private negotiation. Very down-to-Earth and a proud straight talker, David has a great sense of humor and a warm and approachable manner. Most of all, he works hard to earn people’s trust and enjoys a high level of repeat and referral business as a result. David’s a proud father of two and he’s happy to spend his days off with the family!

A long standing passion for all things property has seen Ellie gather extensive industry experience in a variety of roles in property. Ellie has a strong background in Customer Service, Property Management and Office Administration. Ellie is now an accomplished Leasing Consultant, dedicated to profiling clients and matching them to the ideal property. Living and working locally for the past five years Matt is able to draw local knowledge and community links to his role as Property Manager. Bringing a positive ‘can do’ attitude to the office each and every day, he often has clients raving about his efficiency and has been described as a “breath of fresh air”. Matt keeps his clients updated with all progress and activities relating to your property and tenants. After successfully working for the Harcourt’s Carina Sales team, Matt has finally decided to take the plunge and join the Property Management team. Through his experience Matthew is uniquely placed to provide a level of knowledge, experience, problem solving, negotiating and customer care not often seen in the real estate industry. Customer Service ManagerBefore joining the Harcourts Carina team as Customer Service Manager in October 2004, Gerry owned his own management consulting company. Prior to this he had a highly successful and varied career in the Telecommunications industry. Gerry has held a variety of Senior Management positions in Customer Service, Information Technology, Sales and Data Quality. Gerry holds post graduate degrees in Business Management and has worked as a consultant to a number of high profile businesses throughout the country. He possesses strong communication skills following years of experience within highly professional and competitive industries. He enjoys the challenge of identifying efficiencies that can be achieved by streamlining processes and systems.
